During the year 1999 this was the first paragraph of my homepage !

Dear Friends, another year full of  palindromic  discoveries started !

I wish you all the best for Anno Domini 13131 6.
And I mean that for all the 555 8 days in it (or 1C1 14 if you like) !

There are exactly 303 primes smaller than or equal to 1999 [G. L. Honaker, Jr.]

1999 is the smallest 4-digit prime containing the digits 1 and/or 9.

[G. L. Honaker, Jr.] This year 1999 might also be the Year of the Beast !
Just turn the new year upside down and read the first three digits...
1999 becomes 6661

Moreover G. L. discovered that both 1999 and 6661 are primes of the form 666n + 1.
Consequently he composed an integer sequence for Sloane's OEIS : see A037029 and A037030.

6661 is the smallest prime containing exactly three sixes [ A037065 ].
6661 is the smallest 4-digit prime containing only digits 1 and 6 [ A036933 ].
