A sequence of twelve 9's is detected in the value of 1/pi

Dr Francis Podmore (Senior Lecturer), Department of Physics,
University of Zimbabwe, Mount Pleasant, Harare, Zimbabwe (email),
told me that the current record for the length of the number of
digits of pi is 206 billion, by Kanada in 1999.
