Langford's problem versus double pandigital numbers
Daniel Hardisky (email)

Patrick's response : But how many places should be between the two zeros ?
Logically the zeros should always be adjacent.

Daniel : I re-visited my 2009 algorithm for the Devil’s Lock puzzle and can get adjacent Zeros,
BUT must add -1’s for “no space”. Many solutions.

Patrick : What about using 'double' ninedigitals ?
Daniel : There are no solutions for n = 1 to 9 using 2 each.

Finally, Daniel's PDF file about
the “Devil’s Lock & Gate Puzzles”.
